Enterprise Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise system architecture and development of scalable, high-performance mediation platforms across telecom environments .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Enterprise Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end system architecture design for scalable, fault-tolerant mediation and data processing platforms.
• Develop and maintain core services using Java Spring Boot, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design and optimize data pipelines, including file ingestion, transformation, and distribution across systems.
• Manage containerized deployments on Kubernetes/OpenShift, including scaling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and SRE practices to ensure system stability and rapid issue resolution.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (master's preferred).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in telecom or enterprise architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot ecosystem) and hands-on experience with telecom data formats (ASN.1, CDR/UDR) and high-performance data processing systems.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift, SRE practices, and building scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly observable enterprise platforms.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
