Production Operator (Hiring Immediately)

Pay: $30.25 per hour plus Shift Differential : $2.00 per hour.

Shift and working Hours: (Nightshift)6:00 PM to 6:00 AM; 2-2-3 Rotating-Shift Schedule (every other weekend off) ; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed

Role Focus:

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. The Dairy Foods Evaporator Operator is responsible for effectively operating all 3 onsite evaporators, process control equipment, pasteurizers, heat exchangers, CIP systems as well as handling and storage, while maintaining the highest level of GMP and sanitation standards possible. Responsible for following all company and regulatory guidelines pertaining to documenting and record keeping. Assistance with training may be required eventually as part of the role. Must be comfortable with occasional confined space entry as required and comfortable with heights.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot. Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience. Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present.
• Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
