Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
• Utilize EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support an EPIC conversion project within the Medical Surgical department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months
• Recent Cerner experience required; charting system must be documented for each work history entry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
