Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a PCU/MedSurg Float position requiring a compact RN license and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Float position between the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Med Surg departments within a hospital setting
• Each unit has 25 beds
• PCU patient ratio is 5:1 and Med Surg patient ratio is 7:1
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No block scheduling available
• Required to work every other weekend and holiday
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Meditech EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across both PCU and Med Surg units as needed based on staffing demands
• ASAP start date available
