Job Coach - Work Therapy Technician

Job Coach (Work Therapy Technician) – Direct Care and Treatment – North Mankato, MN Responsibilities Teaching and coaching program participants’ job and independent living skills, and ongoing job support. Acting as a liaison between businesses to provide program and community-based opportunities for participants. Documenting participants’ activities, progress, and care by recording, summarizing, and maintaining data in standard forms and reports. Participating in daily operations of the site to meet licensure, legal, and accreditation requirements and to adhere to established CBS/MSOCS policies and procedures. Assisting the program to meet Department of Labor, MN State licensing and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Current and valid driver’s license. Ability to read, understand, write reports, and perform basic arithmetic, interpret charts and graphs. Basic math skills. Clear communication skills. Basic computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience implementing training/employment programs for individuals with cognitive/intellectual disabilities, mental illness, chemical dependency, physical disability, brain injury, and/or displaced workers.
