Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse RN MedSurg, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department requirements and state standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, provide personalized, compassionate care, and advocate for patients and families to ensure outstanding experiences and positive outcomes. Responsibilities Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs. Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving issues. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex medical terminology into understandable language. Qualifications Registered Nurse license. Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. 6 months of experience in a relevant setting. No travel required.
