Hands-On Role: Be directly involved in day-to-day accounting operations and cost tracking—this is not a back-office job. Team Environment: Work alongside seasoned professionals who value accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement. What will your day look like? Cost Accounting: Track and analyze production costs, material variances, and inventory transactions. General Ledger Management: Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports and provide insights on variances, trends, and key performance indicators. Process Improvement: Support initiatives to streamline accounting processes and improve cost visibility. Collaboration: Work closely with operations, purchasing, and plant personnel to ensure accurate costing and reporting. Who are you? Experienced Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Cost Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of standard cost systems, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost drivers. Detail-Oriented: You’re accurate, organized, and proactive about solving discrepancies before they become problems. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel to analyze and report data. Team Player: Able to communicate clearly with both financial and operational teams.
