Manager of Software Development
We are seeking a Manager of Software Development to lead a team of software engineers in a fully remote environment. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring developers, improving engineering processes, and helping build a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, motivated, and excited to contribute to an evolving technology organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately seven software developers.
- Drive Agile and Scrum best practices while helping improve software development processes.
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee project execution and prioritize work within a ticket-based development environment.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to deliver quality software solutions.
- Remove obstacles and help the team improve efficiency and productivity.
- Support career growth and professional development for team members.
- Provide technical guidance when needed while remaining focused on leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing or leading software development teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience tracking team performance using KPIs and project metrics.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Technical experience with Microsoft technologies or.NET is preferred but not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
