Apply now for more details! Overview: The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) function at the bank is responsible for the management of major programs across the bank. Within the EPMO, the Senior Project Manager position is responsible for the implementation and successful delivery of the program workstream in support of a broader led program supporting Private Banking & Wealth Management, and US Wealth Management business units. This includes leading project teams across multiple functions and/or divisions within that are each responsible for elements therein. This includes: architecting project structures, plans to enable fulfillment an articulated business strategy and managing large program budgets in partnership with the overall program team. The Senior Program Manager will need to be able to quickly assess the health of the workstreams under their remit and make recommendations to improve delivery capability. They will manage end-to-end complex and cross line of business impacting change sub-workstreams in alignment with both Enterprise Change Management Framework and program management methodology. This includes program delivery phases for execution and transition to BAU. They will challenge/review program status in partnership with business and technology stakeholders to ensure sound risk and issue management throughout the project lifecycle. Support delivery of program and project plan objectives, coordinating activities across multiple departments and divisions within to achieve overarching program goals Must be extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of project methodology, various project management tools and techniques across all program and project activities Define and establish project/workstream and governance structures to support successful delivery and manage program risk Develops, reviews, and approves project plans for conformance to program strategy, program plan and schedule Leads and facilitates high-level meetings for project plan requirements and to develop schedules and milestone measurements Accountable to program stakeholders and senior management for schedule, budget, quality and outcome of all program and project elements Communication liaison with key stakeholders, coordinating and holding periodic briefings/status updates Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning Understand cross-program, project and workstream dependencies Skills: Management Consulting background highly preferred Minimum 10 years of experience in managing PMO functions and/or end-to-end complex change programs independently with multi-department/Line of Business impact Minimum 5 years banking/financial services with specific experience managing large scale, complex programs within the investment banking/wealth management/brokerage and securities space required Understands full project lifecycle, can assess impacts, including people, process, and technology, manage scope/schedule/risks and deliver project results including scheduling and budgeting experience Experience in structured analysis, strategy, problem-solving and critical thinking Expert with the JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite with a focused ability to create concise and compelling presentations (Project Plans in MS Project, Presentations in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) Demonstrated ability to: Drive organizational change and understands how to structure program governance and reporting at the portfolio level Think strategically and effectively manage relationships with business partners Problem solve and exercise solid judgment Communicate with highly technical as well as functional partners Knowledge or experience in the implementation and/or support of applications and/or infrastructure environments within a technology organization a plus Complies fully with all Bank Operational policies and procedures and completes all required training PMP Certification highly preferred Pay: $100-$110/hr w2 Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Project Management and Finance Industries Banking and Financial Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Phaxis by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Get notified when a new job is posted.
