Title: CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist (Dual Modality)

Location: New York, NY

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: 4x9-Hour Shifts
Regular Shift: Wednesday – Saturday | 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM (30-Minute Lunch)

Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks):
Tuesday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to perform both CT and diagnostic radiology procedures in a specialty orthopedic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Siemens equipment experience and be comfortable working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and ICU settings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations

• Operate Siemens CT and radiology equipment

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation

• Perform portable radiology examinations as needed

• Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures

• Administer IV contrast according to department protocols

• Complete CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, CTA, brain perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction studies

• Perform X-ray procedures involving extremities, spine, pelvis, chest, thorax, musculoskeletal, upper and lower extremities

• Document patient information and imaging studies accurately

• Ensure radiation safety and patient care standards are maintained

• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams

• Rotate through multiple imaging departments as required

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License

• ARRT (R) Certification

• ARRT (CT) Certification

• IV Certification

• Current BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience

• Siemens equipment experience required

• Ability to perform both CT and X-Ray procedures

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds with or without assistive devices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Epic EMR experience

• Previous orthopedic imaging experience

• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and ICU settings

• Travel experience welcomed but not required
