About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Special Credits to provide executive leadership in the areas of credit risk mitigation, loss reduction, and recovery optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing risk management strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading strategic initiatives to improve portfolio performance and operational effectiveness. This role requires a strong focus on reducing delinquency, mitigating losses, and strengthening recovery performance across the portfolio, as well as the ability to champion process innovation, technology adoption, and performance improvement strategies. Applicants for the Senior Vice President, Special Credits position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, with advanced training in collections, credit risk, or delinquency management preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in lending, collections, or credit risk management, with at least 8 years in a progressive leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, delivering measurable results, and demonstrating strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication skills. Experience in complex credit matters, such as bankruptcies, repossessions, and legal recovery actions, is essential, as is a deep understanding of regulatory compliance in the financial services industry. The role demands a leader who can effectively represent the organization in professional and community associations, and who is adept at guiding strategic decision-making based on industry trends and best practices.
