Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant

An established hospital-based team in Alabama is seeking a Critical Care Physician Assistant to provide overnight inpatient care for acutely and chronically ill adult patients

Practice Highlights:

• Full-time position
• Primarily inpatient role providing overnight hospital-based care
• Manage acute and complex chronically ill adult patients
• Facilitate care from admission through discharge
• Evaluate patients and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Apply advanced medical and nursing knowledge to complex clinical situations
• Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
• Communicate effectively during urgent and emergency situations
• Complete timely, accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development and competency validation

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Physician Assistant licensure
• Strong clinical and technical competence
• Sound clinical judgment and professional communication skills
• Ability to manage complex adult patients in an inpatient setting
• Effective communication skills in emergency situations
• Computer literacy and basic typing proficiency
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety and continued professional development
