As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, including conducting routine bicycle patrols for extended periods. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common spaces, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns in accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
