Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team, specializing in TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel rails. The ideal candidate will interpret blueprints and weld symbols while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel rails.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Meet production schedules and quality expectations.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in welding, specifically TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of welding symbols and instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in stainless steel welding.
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy industrial environment, where temperatures can reach up to 108 degrees. We prioritize your comfort with water stations and a slushie machine in the break room.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
