Sr. Industrial Engineer

Senior Industrial Engineer at a medical device company focused on optimizing manufacturing operations through waste elimination and productivity enhancement. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to optimize operational costs and resource utilization
Conduct time and labor analysis studies to streamline processes and maximize workflow efficiency
Develop standard work procedures, mistake-proofing techniques, and performance metrics for sustained improvements
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to analyze operations and develop prioritized action plans
Ensure facility efficiency, workplace safety, and compliance with quality management systems and regulations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
4+ years experience in medical device or related regulated industry
4+ years of continuous improvement experience in medical device environment
Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts and practices
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and clean room practices
Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
