Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech in Tacoma

Job Description Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment. Minimum Requirements Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology. State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine (WA license required). BLS certification. Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - ARRT (N) verification or NMTCB credential. Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB‑NCT) verification. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist. Experience using EPIC and McKesson/CV PACS systems or similar PACS software. Experience performing stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures. Ability to start IVs as required by the department. Experience with GE or Philips nuclear medicine equipment. Candidates may not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift details: Days 0700-1600. Typical schedule: Monday through Friday; shift notes indicate M-F 0730-1630 with minimal call required. Department: Diagnostic Imaging - Radiology (Nuclear Medicine), 3 scanners/rooms. Average volume: about 12 scans/studies per day. EMR/PACS: EPIC, McKesson PACS, CVPACS. Radiologist in‑house coverage available. Weekend requirement: occasional. Holiday and limited call/standby requirements may apply. Scrub/dress code: professional scrubs; scrubs are not provided.
