Accountant - Senior

Overview Position: Accountant - Senior Location: Dallas, Texas (onsite) Duration: Contract (1-year initially) Job ID: 171422 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. This is a contract position that requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliation. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support financial planning. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and audits. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
