About Us:
Fresh Coat Painters of State College is the premier professional painting choice for home and business owners in Centre and Mifflin Counties. We believe a beautiful painting job can transform a home or business and create a warm and welcoming environment. With every project, regardless of the size, we use the very best products and materials to provide our clients with superior results.
Responsibilities:
- Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, etc.
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster).
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
- Apply varnish and other finishes.
- Follow all health and safety precautions.
Requirements
- Able to use the tools of our trade: paint brushes, caulking guns, etc.
- Are good with basic math.
- Can work safely while on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
- Are conscientious with great attention to detail.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Take pride in your work.
