Human Resources Manager II

Daikin Applied is seeking a Human Resources Manager. Location: Staunton, VA – In-Office. Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals. Administer HR transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting. Train management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment. Provide recommendations regarding resolution of employee relations issues. Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Administer the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization. Administer the salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization. Maintain the affirmative action plan and ensure compliance with OFCCP regulations. Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. 6-8 years of experience in a Human Resources Management role. 4+ years of people leadership experience.
