Our client is looking for a dependable professional to join their litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative office where your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities will make a real impact.If you have experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced law firm and enjoy managing deadlines, preparing legal documents, and communicating with clients, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoDraft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other case-related materials.File documents electronically with state and federal courts.Maintain and organize electronic case files to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Coordinate attorney calendars, including hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and critical deadlines.Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionals.Assist with case management from opening through resolution.Process attorney time entries and assist with billing and administrative support.Handle incoming and outgoing mail and provide additional office support as needed.Work closely with attorneys to ensure deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar legal support role.Experience working in a law firm.Knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures and civil litigation is strongly preferred.Familiarity with legal case management software and electronic filing systems.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.Strong proofreading, grammar, and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.Professional, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional client service.Why You'll Love This OpportunityEstablished and respected law firmCollaborative and supportive team environmentExcellent benefits packageStable, full-time position with long-term career potentialCompetitive compensation based on experienceSalary/Benefits$20.00 - $30.00 per hour with OT available401(k) with company matchMedical/Dental/Vision insuranceLife/AD&D/Disability insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid Time OffEmployer-paid parking
