Job Title

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift (7P–7A)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Rotating Weekends | On-Call Required | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within an acute care hospital setting, primarily on the night shift
• Operate and manage ventilator equipment including V-60, Servo-I, and Optiflow devices
• Care for a patient population consisting primarily of geriatric and adult patients, with occasional pediatric and neonatal cases
• Manage and treat patients with common diagnoses including COPD and respiratory distress
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Work independently during night shift hours as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NICU experience required
• Active certifications required prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
• Ability to work independently during night shift hours
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator management including V-60, Servo-I, and Optiflow
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system
• Experience treating COPD and acute respiratory distress in an acute care environment
