Vendor Manager/Buyer, Amazon Worldwide Grocery Category Team

Amazon is looking for a talented Vendor Manager (VM) responsible for managing vendor relationships and setting the strategic direction for their business on the Worldwide Grocery Category team. The ideal candidate possesses experience in buying, marketing and/or finance; with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to your success. On a day to day basis, you will:Drive strategic negotiations with vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor partners and their leadershipDevelop long-term strategies and significantly influences cross-category plans - delivering on Amazon's goals and objectives while obsessing over CustomersWork cross functionally, both within Amazon and your assigned vendorsImplement scalable, simple and automated solutions to address Customer pain points and drive resultsCreate opportunities for growth, customer acquisition and brand-buildingAudit metrics regularly, determine and prioritize business opportunities, identify risks and make recommendations to deliver resultsIdentify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growthThe Worldwide Grocery Category Management team is responsible for selection decisions and vendor relationships for grocery category across all Amazon banners. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
