May operate machinery to clean water systems.RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from high school. Previous experience with underground water systems, equipment placement, residential service locations, easements and right-of-way specifications is preferred.Must have a Utah CDL license or obtain it within 6 months.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.Skilled in operating various types of tools and power equipment to perform essential functions;.Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, subordinates and the public.Will be required to pass a drug test and back ground check. Position level depends on experience and State Wastewater Collection Certification. Must obtain State Wastewater Certification Grade 1 within 12 months. Employee must reside within 30 minutes of City Limits (based on average Google Maps drive time) for on-call purposes. Employee can take up to 6 months to relocate within appropriate response time area.Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
