Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Telemetry (Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Day Shift | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 38-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 6:1
• Perform peripheral IV starts, dressing changes, and other standard medical/surgical nursing procedures
• Operate and monitor equipment including Baxter IV pumps, wound vacs, SCDs, prima-fits, and primo-fits
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner Powerchart EMR
• Float to other medical/surgical units and ED holding areas as needed, per unit policy
• Work every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Cerner Powerchart or comparable EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues proactively
