Physical Therapist (PT)

Role Summary The Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards. The position involves developing and implementing treatment plans, assessing patient progress, and supervising PTAs, rehab aides, and students. The PT maintains accurate documentation, utilizes therapy software, and delivers excellent patient service. Key responsibilities include establishing measurable goals, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and rights. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, good judgment, and effective communication skills. The PT must follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all interactions. Physical demands include mobility and manual tasks, with an emphasis on dependable attendance and teamwork. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) Active licensure in applicable state and CPR certification Preferred one year of experience; new graduates are welcome Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in post-acute care Ability to perform physical tasks and work effectively with patients and team members #J-18808-Ljbffr
