About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; 24-hour orientation provided; floating within the organization required as needed

Highlights:

• 30-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Diverse case mix including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures
• Specialized procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Interdisciplinary support including interpretation services available
• One pre-approved time off request permitted during assignment

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Charge experience, community hospital experience, and Level I or II Trauma experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills including telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line management, and wound care
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
