About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend; 24-hour orientation provided; floating within facility system required

Highlights:

• Adult and geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures
• Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• 30-bed unit with daily census of approximately 30 patients
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Travel nursing experience required; previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; flexible floating requirements within the health system

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous charge experience
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I or II experience
• Skills in blood product administration, central line management, telemetry monitoring, chest tubes, wound care/wound vac, and tracheostomy care
