Human Resources Expert

Salary The starting hourly rate is $17.25 USD per hour. The pay range is $17.25–$25.90 USD per hour. Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly manner, smile, make eye contact or wave. Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience. End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you. Actively support team efforts, assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience. Work with the HR leader to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business, including understanding guests’ needs and ensuring the right mix of experience and skills to deliver on in‑store and digital shopping experiences. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates. Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices. Listen to team members, collaborate with appropriate leaders to take action as needed. Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption. Support the leader in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. Perform any other duties based on business needs. Qualifications Enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members. Thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active and physically demanding role, with teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving as key to success. Open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members. Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed. Effective communication skills. Work both independently and with a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without additional assistance. Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements. Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift; shift length may vary.
