Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1+ years License: RN License required in Kentucky Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: OB/L&D experience and charge experience. Professional demeanor required. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. The facility is a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited facility. It provides a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including labor and delivery. The unit has 8 beds with patient ratios per AWHONN standards. The electronic health record system used is MediTech. The patient population includes obstetrics, nursery, and occasional gynecological surgery. This role may require weekend hours and call responsibilities as needed. All travelers must have the required certifications prior to starting. The facility reserves the right to require additional certifications not listed. Dress code consists of scrubs; no casual wear is permitted. This position is a replacement for a permanent staff member.
