EPL/Professional Liability Claim Counsel

Managing high-severity, complex insurance claims, the full-time salaried EPL/Professional Liability Claim Counsel will focus on coverage analysis, policy interpretation, and strategic claim resolution while working fully remote. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret EPL, Professional Liability, BOP, and GL policies, analyzing coverage issues and drafting coverage position letters Oversee complex claims investigations and develop strategic approaches for claim resolution, including litigation oversight Negotiate settlements and ensure compliance with Department of Insurance regulations while maintaining thorough documentation Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar membership or 7-10+ years of senior-level experience in handling complex liability claims Active adjuster licenses and willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed Demonstrated expertise in insurance coverage analysis and policy interpretation Experience managing high-frequency EPL programs and familiarity with panel counsel management Proficiency with claims management systems and related tools
