Manager, Customer Engineer

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain customer relationships with all relevant individuals in the district at all times, at all levels. Perform regular customer visits. Manage, coach and direct all customer engineers in the district. Responsible for salary planning, career planning and corrective actions, establish objectives and performance appraisals. Serve as the primary interface with the Product Divisions: tech support, training, spares, reliability. Monitor the CSD Award Program and the mentor program. Execute escalation procedures. Provide account planning with District Sales Engineer and a support plan for system sales to CSD Management, Sales, and Field Engineering. Prepare financial forecasts and drive cost efficiency for the district; performance measured by financial result. Manage system installation: planning, reporting, execution, pre‑facility meetings, start‑up meetings, and process support identification. Manage RMA procedures and monitor engineer effectiveness, tracking, and corrective action. Functional Knowledge Analyses situations or data requiring review of relevant factors. Business Expertise Receives assignments with objectives and goals; recommends changes to unit or sub‑unit policies. Leadership Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance; administers company policies affecting subordinate employees. Problem Solving Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Impact Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules. Interpersonal Skills Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others and present technical information concerning projects or schedules. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $88,000.00 – $121,000.00.
