Team members have the opportunity to advance their careers at ABS.A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FINISHERAs a Finisher, you will perform a variety of finishing processes including blasting, powder coating, polishing, and occasional wet coat painting on metal parts/surfaces. You will be responsible for taking care of the equipment you use, including cleaning and basic preventative maintenance. In this position you will work with various materials and will be responsible to safely label, store, and dispose of those substances. Various hand and power tools may be used during the finishing process. Forklift operation and basic maintenance will be a part of your daily tasks to move equipment to/from other departments."Safety Always" is our motto, which you support by monitoring equipment and materials to ensure safe operation while following safety procedures as you work. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN FINISHERUtilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform dutiesRead and interpret basic parts drawingsOrganized and detail-oriented, with effective time management and prioritization skillsComplete training to become forklift certified within 30 daysLift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionallyHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredFinishing experience with wet and/or powder coat paint (preferred)WORK SCHEDULE AS A FINISHERThe typical schedule for this full-time position is Monday - Thursday from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 am - 9 am.ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR PRODUCTION TEAM?We understand your time is valuable and that is why we have a very quick and easy application process.
