Graphic DesignerAs a Graphic Designer at Fun Spot America Theme Parks, you will play a key role in developing branding and promotional marketing assets as well as maintaining the visual identity of our parks. We operate our values based on the golden rule of treating others the same way that we ourselves want to be treated.At Fun Spot America Theme Parks, we hold our team members to the highest standards, expecting them to embody the seven principles of Love Works: Patient – Kind – Trusting – Unselfish – Truthful – Forgiving – Dedicated.Department: MarketingReports to: SVP, MarketingType: Full-Time, HourlyPay Rate: $20.00/hrLocation: Orlando, FLKey ObjectivesConceptualize and design a wide-range of print and digital visual assets for the Fun Spot America Theme Parks brand including marketing and advertising collateral, billboards, in-park signage, promotional materials, merchandise, etc.Create custom visual assets to support various internal departments such as social media, food and beverage, admissions, group sales, etc.Manage multiple design projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality workAssist with the design and production of in-park signage and wayfinding materials for both print and digital needs (A-frames, Digital menus, banners, ride signs, etc)Maintain strong knowledge of print production process to set-up files properly for large-scale production needsEnsure all design work adheres to the Fun Spot America brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity through graphic design fundamentals such as typography, color theory, print and web design,Collaborate with the marketing team to concept and execute creative campaigns to engage audiences, boost brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition.RequirementsCandidate QualificationsDegree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.2–4 years of professional graphic design experience preferred; however, early-career designers with strong portfolios, internships, freelance experience, or comparable hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Strong portfolio showcasing creative and versatile design skills.Knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory.Experience with both traditional and digital media advertising creative.Experience with creating content for websites and content management systems.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park's drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.Ideal Candidates with the Preferred Qualifications are encouraged to apply:4+ years graphic design experience within an advertising agency and/or corporate marketing department.Previous design experience in the theme park, attractions, entertainment, or hospitality industry.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.BenefitsDiscounts on park admission, food & beverage, and retailAccess to partner programs, offering free admission to participating local attractions and discounts world-wide.Paid Time Off – PTO, Birthday PTO, and five (5) paid holidaysMedical, dental, vision, and optional disability and life insurance401(k) eligibility after 6-months of service with employer match for eligible team membersPerformance-based summer and holiday bonuses, along with two (2) performance appraisals a year.Same Day "Pay On-Demand" access for eligible team membersAccess to optional programs including Lyric telehealth and LegalShieldEqual Opportunity EmployerAt Fun Spot America Theme Parks, we embrace diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
