Night Shift, PRN, Sleep Center Polysomnographic TechnicianJoin our team as a night shift, PRN, Sleep Center Polysomnographic Technician in Pocatello, ID.Why Join Us?Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare BetterThrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being.People-First: We prioritize your well-being with a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for.Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care.Get to Know Your Team:Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma and tertiary care center and home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for polysomnographic data on one or two patients throughout the night with ability to recognize pathology and differentiate artifact from real physiological data.The technologist must also note and report all events, behaviors and information that may be relevant to a patient's evaluation.Conducts a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with sleep-related breathing disorders in a safe and therapeutically effective manner.Correctly administers services in accordance with Policies and Procedures.Maintains awareness of environmental conditions and initiates corrective intervention as indicated.Possess an expanded level of technical competence that is shared effectively with other staff.Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.QualificationsJob Requirements:High School Graduation or equivalentCurrent licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist by the Idaho Board of MedicineCurrent Registered Polysomnographic Technologist by the National Board for Registered Polysomnographic TechnologistsCurrent BLS certificationPreferred Job Requirements:Completion of a clinical polysomnography and/or respiratory care program approved by the American Medical Association
