Salary: $62,566.40 - $88,337.60* *This is inclusive of a 1.00% recruitment and retention stipend Position Number: 03000-4373 Location: This is a full-time position that can be located in Augusta, ME or Portland, ME and allows for partial telework with management approval.
Currently, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or STEM OPT extensions. Core Responsibilities: This position is professional social services work of a supervisory nature related to home and community-based waiver services for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism.
As a Waiver Services Manager, you will: • Supervise and support four DD Resource Coordinators and one Office Assistant, • Oversee eligibility determinations and service authorizations,
• Respond to inquiries from the general public, applicants, and waiver members, • Collaborate with waiver providers and case management agencies, and • Participate as a witness in administrative hearings. Minimum Qualifications: An eight (8) year combination of education and/or professional experience in social services to include two (2) years of related program management experience. Preference will be given to candidates with: • At least one (1) year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities, and • A bachelor's degree in a human services field (including, but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology).
