Our client in North Carolina is actively seeking an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for a 124-day assignment commencing Oct 19, 2026. This position involves performing a comprehensive scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, with typical shifts running from approximately 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful Dentist will provide vital coverage, demonstrating flexibility to support various practice locations and managing a diverse range of cases, from routine extractions to complex implant placements and treatment of facial trauma. Responsibilities and Duties Perform the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, including: Simple and Surgical Extractions Wisdom Teeth / Impacted Tooth Removal Dental Implant Placement Bone Grafting Alveoloplasty Incision and Drainage of Dental Abscesses Biopsies / Oral Lesion Removal Frenectomy Exposure and Bonding of Impacted Teeth Pre-Prosthetic Surgery Treatment of Facial/Dental Trauma Cyst Removal / Enucleation Sinus Lifts Apicoectomy Administer IV Sedation / General Anesthesia Provide care for Medicaid patients Additional Information Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is required.
