POSITION OVERVIEW

Our North Jersey office is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with 3-8 years of litigation experience to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who is looking for sophisticated work, autonomy, flexibility, and a clear path for professional growth within a highly respected regional law firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.

· Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation.

· Represent insurers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in a variety of liability matters.

· Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and reports.

· Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive case management.

· Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

· J.D. from an accredited law school.

· Active New Jersey law license required.

· 3-8 years of insurance defense litigation experience.

· Experience handling automobile liability matters strongly preferred.

· Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

· Ability to independently manage cases while working effectively as part of a team.
