Job Summary

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business and growing existing customer accounts within an assigned territory in the Atlanta area.

The position focuses on specialty building components serving both commercial and residential construction markets. The successful candidate will have a strong hunter mentality, actively prospect for new business, maintain existing customer relationships, and identify opportunities to grow sales within the assigned territory.

The Outside Sales Representative will work with customers, contractors, and internal departments to generate quotes based on architectural drawings, review orders, and support the sales process.

Regular territory travel is required, and the candidate must be comfortable using a personal vehicle for business-related travel.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect for new business within the assigned territory.

Develop new customer relationships and sales opportunities.

Maintain and grow an existing account base.

Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.

Conduct regular customer and prospect outreach.

Generate quotes based on architectural drawings.

Review architectural drawings to support accurate quoting.

Communicate with contractors regarding products, quotes, and orders.

Review orders with internal departments and contractors.

Coordinate with internal teams to support order execution.

Manage the sales pipeline and follow up on opportunities.

Maintain accurate customer and prospect information.

Build long-term relationships with customers and contractors.

Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

Use a personal vehicle for customer visits and territory activities.

Work toward established sales and business-development objectives.

Provide professional customer service throughout the sales process.

Maintain a positive, professional, and solution-oriented approach.

Must-Have Requirements

At least 3 years of outside sales experience preferred.

Strong prospecting and new-business-development experience.

Experience maintaining and growing an existing account base.

Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

Ability to generate quotes based on architectural drawings.

Ability to review orders with internal departments and contractors.

Strong customer relationship management skills.

Self-motivated and career-oriented approach.

Positive and upbeat personality.

Ability to work independently and manage an assigned territory.

Ability to travel regularly using a personal vehicle.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience selling architectural glass or metal products.

Experience in construction sales.
