Marketing Coordinator

At Turnkey Marketing, our mission is simple: to help small businesses succeed. We provide outsourced marketing management to independent auto repair shop owners so they can focus on what they do best—running their shops. We’re seeking an experienced and values-driven Marketing Coordinator to be the chief storyteller for our own brand. This is a hands-on role is for someone who gets things done well and quickly . It’s for a self-motivated marketer who thrives on creating content that connects with our target market, moves quickly yet thoroughly, thinks creatively to turn the ordinary into interesting content, and understands that excellent work contributes to the common good. You will develop and execute our marketing strategy , creating compelling direct response copy and engaging video content that attracts and nurtures our ideal clients. Your work will directly impact our company's growth , allowing us to help even more small business owners thrive . You excel at writing direct response copy that has a track record of converting leads into clients. You’re passionate about direct response marketing and have studied some of the best direct response marketing. You understand marketing funnels and how to capture and convert leads. You understand the power of frameworks like StoryBrand and Problem-Agitation-Solution to create a clear message that resonates. You thrive at creating educational social media content and video content that inspires and entertains a specific audience of small business owners. You have a "can-do" attitude and a hunger for learning and becoming better at what you do. You’d be very excited to work on influencer marketing You’re great at taking an overall vision and translating it into tasks, then getting those tasks done. You have experience with graphic design, especially for social media. You geek out over metrics and are driven to track and improve the performance of your campaigns. You love keeping up with trends on social media and you can easily spot what works and what doesn’t work on social media posts and marketing You believe in the power of small business to support and change a community. You believe that your work is bigger than the task at hand. This Position Is NOT For You If… You don’t excel at getting projects off the ground and to the finish line quickly and with accuracy. You prefer to work on generic brand awareness campaigns over results-driven lead generation. You’ve never successfully done marketing before. You’re a slacker, complainer, and/or a person who passes off responsibility. You aren’t a fan of social media. You're not comfortable creating and appearing in video content. You need someone to tell you what to do next instead of taking initiative and owning the outcome. Individual achievement is more important to you than being a part of a strong team. Your values are not in alignment with ours. The Right Candidate MUST Have/Be The Following A top-notch team player who truly believes "it's not about me." Direct experience with B2B marketing , specifically targeting service-based small businesses. A proven track record of writing direct response copy for websites, emails, and social media. A deep understanding of copywriting principles from marketers like Dan Kennedy and Donald Miller is a significant plus. Experience with video production and editing for social media and web. Experience with graphic design for social media. The ability to think strategically and operate tactically to see projects through to completion. A deep love for organization and the ability to pivot and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proactive initiative—this is not for someone who just waits around to be told what to do. Responsibilities Create, produce, and edit engaging content for our website and social media channels to educate and inspire our audience (video, copy, graphics). Write compelling direct response copy for our emails, landing pages, and social media posts that attracts leads and builds trust. Develop and implement a content calendar and marketing strategy aligned with our business goals. Utilize messaging frameworks (StoryBrand, PAS) to ensure all marketing materials have a clear and consistent message. Manage our social media presence , responding to comments and engaging with our community. Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide reports to leadership.
