Job Title : Entry-Level Operator
Location : Augusta, GA
Starting Pay : $19/hour
Shift Work Required : Yes (12-hour shifts, including nights)

Position Overview:
An Augusta-based operation is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Entry-Level Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. The role requires flexibility for shift work, including nights and 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently-Must be able to troubleshoot and handle majority of preventative maintenance when on shift.
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff regarding operational issues
• Accurately document issues using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Internet browsers)
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

· Clean background check (mandatory): All candidates must successfully pass a background screening prior to employment.

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

· Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting preferred.

· Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical reasoning and troubleshooting skills; ability to work with tools and machinery.

· Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and production schedules.

· Shift Flexibility: Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

· Equipment Operation: Experience safely operating equipment, or willingness to be trained as needed.

· Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Internet browsers.

· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.

· Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Safety & Improvement: Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
