About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 17:00 - 05:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; traveler experience accepted; first-time travelers welcome License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT (MR) Must-Have: Competent on Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier equipment Experience with a variety of MRI procedures, including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, and more Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER settings, and adult ICU Description: RTO after booking is not permitted and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly lead to cancellations. The schedule includes Wednesday to Friday work days. The unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks or more. The tech will work independently in the department during the night shift. Occasional operational assistance may be available but is not guaranteed. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily caseload averages around 40 patients. All RTO must be pre-approved, with specific guidelines on holidays. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as required. References can be pending at the time of submission. Modules related to acute care must be completed prior to start. Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed online using specific browsers.
