Position Overview A Hospitalist at Baptist Medical Center Nassau in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves caring for internal medicine patients in the 36-bed Med/Surg and 8-bed AAU unit, with occasional ICU responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient medical care to patients in Med/Surg and AAU units. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists for patient management. Perform required procedures such as intubation, moderate sedation, central line insertion, and chest tube/thoracentesis. Maintain high standard of patient safety and quality care. Qualifications MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible. Active, unrestricted medical license. Internal Medicine (or Family Medicine with at least 3 years of Hospitalist experience). DEA Controlled Substances Registration required. Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred. Ready to pursue procedural skills; ACLS required, training available. Minimum five years of Internal Medicine or Family Practice experience preferred. Benefits and Compensation Base salary $266,000 plus metric bonus.

• 25,000 retention bonus after 2 years.

7 on/7 off schedule. Average of 15 patients per day. Extensive specialist support and physician‑led enterprise. Location Baptist Medical Center Nassau, Nassau – Main Building, Jacksonville, Florida.
