I&C Engineer

Job Title: I&C Engineer Location: Oak Ridge, TN Type: Direct Hire Work Model: Onsite – onsite Overview We’re looking for an I&C Engineer to support Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) and testing activities in a nuclear environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, tearing down, and figuring out how older systems work. Responsibilities Reverse engineer and troubleshoot obsolete/legacy electronic components Support Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) for safety-related (QL1) equipment Develop and execute test plans and qualification activities Design and build test setups for electronic components Perform failure analysis, repairs, and technical evaluations Interpret data and generate clear, concise technical reports Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear codes and standards Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, or related) Experience working with electronic systems, including troubleshooting and reverse engineering Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation Hands‑on experience with test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
