Pre-Certification Authorization Coordinator

Responsibilities This position will perform prior authorization for advanced medical imaging, including CT, MRI, and PET scans. The role includes managing the financial aspects of patient care through billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization analysis, and revenue cycle analysis. Revenue cycle staff oversee the entire process of billing, collecting, and reconciling patient accounts, managing claims submission, payment processing, and account resolution to maximize revenue while maintaining regulatory compliance. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. 3+ years of relevant experience required. Physical Demands Job requires prolonged sitting, attention to detail, and the ability to hear, speak, read, and write legibly. Compensation The starting base rate for this role is $17.31 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
