Job Summary: SUNY Sullivan is seeking a skilled professional to serve as a part-time Adjunct Instructor in the Criminal Justice program. This position involves teaching college-level courses including but not limited to Cultural Diversity & Criminal Justice, Criminal Investigations, Police Operations, Domestic & International Terrorism, Intro to Forensic Science, Juvenile Justice, and Police-Community Relations. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to the community college philosophy and a culture of belonging. Qualifications: Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a closely-related field Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in Criminal Justice or a closely-related field Prior teaching or training experience (higher education teaching preferred) Ability to teach various modalities, including seated, online, and hybrid classes Availability to teach during the daytime, 1-2 days per week Duties and Responsibilities: Teach college-level business courses in both in-person and online formats, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with established curriculum and course learning outcomes Evaluate and assess student performance based on course objectives using clear and consistent grading practicesAdd disclaimers: no nonexistent ajusting of logic.
