Job Title Feeder Packer Department Finishing Work Schedule 8‑hour shift. Either 7:00 am–3:00 pm or 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday–Friday. Shift differential: $0.75 per hour. Overtime required at times: 3:00 am–3:00 pm for day shift or 3:00 pm–3:00 am for second shift. Hiring Bonus Eligible for $1,500 hiring bonus (Direct Hire only). Salary $21.13 to $23.48 per hour (automatic raises up to $23.48). Signing bonus also available. Job Summary The Feeder Packer places cartons into the production machine feed and removes cartons from the machine, inspects and packs cartons, performs quality checks, and completes documentation. This entry‑level manufacturing position supports the finishing department. Key Responsibilities Feeds flat stock, cuts cartons into the production machine, ensuring they are glued and formed properly. Manages production machine stops by safely clearing jams, resolving system errors, and notifying leads, supervisors, and maintenance as needed to minimize downtime. Assists the Glue Machine Operator and other team members to keep the production line running. Documents maintenance reports, log sheets, manufacturing QA checks, and production data. Inspects cartons coming off the machine for proper glue and formation; checks for defects by sampling stacks and inspecting them. Packs product into cases, tapes completed boxes closed per manufacturing specifications, and palletizes as needed. Maintains a clean production area and machine throughout the shift. Provides relief for breaks as required. Complies with all GMP, manufacturing, safety, food safety, SQF, HACCP, and food defense procedures. Performs any other reasonable requests from management. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Skills & Requirements Judgment and maturity – average degree of both required. Frequent and strenuous physical effort (lifting, moving heavy objects, etc.). Exposure to noise, fumes, and hazardous chemicals. Ability to work overtime as required.
