About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00-18:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3-5 years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and TCAR or TNCC preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: NIH certification ACLS certification Cardiac rhythm knowledge (must pass facility test with 90%) Critical care experience Description: The unit has 17 beds, catering to neuro, trauma, and medical ICU patients, with stepdown and progressive care capabilities. Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 based on acuity. The unit is equipped with ventilators, IV pumps, CRRT, Bipap, ekos, and chest tubes. The electronic medical record system used is Epic. Candidates may need to float to other areas as required. The position demands a hard-working, punctual, and outgoing personality. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs, with no sweatshirts or visible facial piercings allowed. Multiple computer-based training (CBT) modules must be completed as assigned by staff education.
