Creating medical technology for all.We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Team Member to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the final assembly operations of medical carts and enclosures to set quality and production standards.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork matter, we'd love to hear from you!Shift Available: First Shift- Second Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-FridayKey Responsibilities:Responsible for the mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly operations of medical carts, enclosure and other simple and moderate builds using various manual and power tool.Depending on the products being assembled/built, employee may work on an assembly line within a team and/or work independently assembling the product.Read and interpret mechanical drawings and understand standard and metric dimensions on drawings.Identify quality issues from previous stations.Operate an auto bander.Touch up a C-Surface finish.Responsible for verifying parts and other operators work to quality standards.Follow all safety efforts in the work center with the consistent demonstration of proper PPE and adherence to all safety regulations and requirements.Maintain a consistent 5S workplace through consistent housekeeping efforts.Train other employees as directed by Team Leader to ensure parts are produced safely, efficiently, and the appropriate quality level.QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience and Training:6+ Months Previous assembly experience requiredRead and interpret mechanical drawingsUse of hand and powers tools requiredQuality checks are requiredPhysical and Mental Demands:Regularly required to use hands tools and power toolsMust be able to read and follow directionsSpecific abilities include close vision, reading, lifting up to 50 pounds.Why Join Us?Mission-Driven Work: Help deliver medical products that change lives.Growth Opportunities: We support career development and internal promotions.Comprehensive Benefits: Medical (HSA-qualified and traditional plans), dental, and vision—coverage starts the first of the month after hire.401(k) with company match.Nine paid holidays and vacation time from day one.If you're detail-oriented, team-driven, and ready to contribute to life-changing medical technology, apply today and grow your career at MPE.No relocation or sponsorship available for this role.
