# Material Handler (M-F 7AM-3:30PM) - $20/hr## Ellabell, GA Starting at $20## Job Description## Job SummaryMaterial Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving product and shipping orders, ensuring they are processed, put away, picked, and shipped in a timely and secure manner. This position requires use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks. You will be expected to work at a fast pace, be attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and be able to embrace change. Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position and cross-training opportunities may be required. We offer on-site training and mentoring for all positions. If you work well in a team-centered environment and are passionate and ambitious about meeting goals and deadlines, then you have found the right place!**SHIFT SCHEDULE & WAGE*** Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM* Starting wage is $20.00/hr and a potential of up to $0.88 in raises every 6 monthsWe only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.## Responsibilities* Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment* Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing* Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system or CVP machines, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience* Bundle and verify orders for shipment, ensure order accuracy, and operate the bundler system* Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand* Use our ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiency, ready to be placed in storage racking* Move palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the distribution center* Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operations* Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards* Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.* Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals* Abide by all company and warehouse policies* Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation### Physical Requirements* Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.* Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.* Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.* Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.* Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.## Working EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
