We focus on teamwork, creativity, and making a real impact for our residents and staff.We’re seeking a Medication Aide/Tech to provide medication management and support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. This position has a starting wage of $25 per hour. In this role, you’ll deliver care in accordance with resident service plans, communicate with medical professionals and families, and ensure residents’ safety and well-being while supporting regulatory compliance.Must have CNA or HCA with Nurse DelegationWhat You’ll DoFollow each resident’s service plan in a friendly and supportive manner, including passing medications per physician orders and Medication Administration RecordsDocument completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents’ conditionsCommunicate resident needs with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent careParticipate in meal service, including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining roomManage staff under your supervision during working hoursMaintain required certifications and attend ongoing training and in-service programsComply with the Continuous Quality Improvement program and report issues to your supervisorFollow all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen GuidelinesReport suspected elder maltreatment or abuse to the Director of Health and Wellness, Executive Director, and/or StateWork safely and foster a safe work environment for all employeesSupport teamwork, take initiative, and maintain a positive impact on residents, visitors, and coworkersPerform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum one year of experience in a caregiving role or similar functionAt least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related fieldAbility to read physician orders and match them to Medication Administration RecordsUnderstanding of medical terminology adequate to administer medications and communicate with medical professionalsCertifications as required by stateMust be 18 years or older and meet all health requirements, including TB clearanceFirst Aid certification requiredCompassion for and desire to work with the elderlyExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure, resolve conflicts, prioritize tasks, and follow through with ideasPleasant, professional, and personable demeanorJoin Milestone to help residents maintain their health, independence, and well-being every day.Milestone is an equal opportunity employer.
