Local Class A Driver

As a Local Driver , you’ll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

$26.00/hr. - $29.00/hr. +OT

Monday-Friday 6:00am-8:00am start time, 8-12 hour shift

Savannah, GA, 31408

• Deliver and retrieve trailers within 100 miles of Savannah

• Drop and hook, no touch freight
• Operate an automatic day cab, pulling 53' dry van

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past year 

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older 

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle 

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician 

• No record of being disqualified to drive 

• Successful completion of a DOT road test 

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years – a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years 

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred 

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
